Results Pinecrest June 11 2014

It was hot and sweaty, then there was the downpour, we really did think the creek was going to rise, but 8 of the faithful did manage to find their way to the match. Bootleg managed to show us the way again- we still think she goes out behind that barn of theirs and practices!

Congratulations to Gouger P who managed to shoot a CLEAN match, no one has done that in the last couple of months! Doc H almost got there, but he missed one on the first stage.

Speaking of Gouger, he has a new horse and carriage, the old one finally died on the trail- so now the Niagara on the Lake members of the Posse can get to the old ranch and back again!

Although a couple of us shot under 30 seconds, no one joined the 30 second club as you have to have a final stage time of less than 30 seconds- it doesn’t make any difference since Bootleg and Mackinaw are already members of the 30 second club.

Mike and Phil, our Sodbusters, still have not picked out a name, so we’ve temporarily assigned them one- get with it guys, or what we pick out could be a lot worse.

Another local club is trying to get certified for Cowboy Action- they have an outside range, any help we can provide would be appreciated- if they are successful, we will probably drop the summer inside series at Pinecrest and follow the trail to their ranch for summer outside shooting!
