Results Pinecrest February 19 2014

Mother nature was good to us last night, in spite of the fact that the creek did rise, and the walk from the barn to the ranch house was on a skating rink, we did manage to round up 8 of the faithful for the February shoot out.

Sarge asked where the cake was, last month we had a cake & coffee at break in celebration of John Browning’s birthday, we don’t have cake/cookies every posse round up, this prompted a few comments about Sarge thinking he was Marie Antoinette, so the line of the evening become “Let Sarge eat cake”.

The results are in- and when the smoke had cleared, there was a new number 1- congratulations Doc Hackemoff, you get bragging rights for at least the next two weeks- enjoy it while you can, there are a couple of others chasing you! Salutations also to both Sarge and lightning Lanny who managed to shoot CLEAN matches, I think that is the first time for both of them. The laugh of the evening came when Niagara, who was coaching everyone to make sure that they understood stage 3 was the reverse of stage one, screwed it up himself!

While no one broke the 30 second mark this time, we all had fun and toasted (I think that was what we said) our missing fellow posse members- hopefully next time everyone can make it.
