Results Pinecrest April 16 2014
The weather was good to us and 9 of the faithful did show up for the shootout! A mix up of direction by one of the posse members seeking North resulted in the line- “Which Way is North?” No one forgot their keys or guns this time, so shooting started on time and it was a speedy evening.
When the smoke cleared, it was Annie again at the head of the pack, followed by Mackinaw (now that he’s got the rifle working again) and Doc H, but Gouger and Gryphon were within a couple of seconds- nice to see the posse getting competitive. Niagara and Chilidawg both had rifle problems, and Missy Pearl’s times continued to improve as did her accuracy of shooting!
Not sure what Sarge is shooting out of those open top pistols, but it sure is impressive with all the flames and smoke coming out of them! Now if he hadn’t had those misses, he’d be right up there as well.
Remember the banquet May 10, it is open to all League shooters (cowboys) that have shot 6 or more matches since this time last year, not just Pinecrest members!
